Cathy Oxby is a co-founder and the Chief Commercial Officer of Africa GreenCo, a renewable energy trader headquartered in Zambia and an active member of the Southern African Power Pool. GreenCo is also licensed to trade electricity in South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe and is actively expanding its operations into neighbouring countries. Its strong balance sheet and market-leading approach to power trading and risk management place GreenCo at the forefront of developments in the regional energy sector.
Drawing on more than 20 years of professional experience in the infrastructure and renewable energy sectors, Cathy is closely involved in all aspects of GreenCo’s activities. In particular, she leads the commercial negotiation of the many innovative arrangements necessary to implement GreenCo’s operations, including financing, transaction structuring and regulatory.
