14:00 – 18:50 | Compact Track Boardrooms for the Country Energy Compacts (by invitation only) Held sequentially in five parallel rooms; each Boardroom will last 90 minutes. Presentations will enable countries to highlight progress and commitments, focusing on concrete actions such as utility reforms, renewable energy integration and energy access goals. The Compacts will emphasize collaboration between government, private sector and development partners. Compacts from 12 countries will be presented to demonstrate their national strategy to drive progress towards the achievement of universal access to energy in a reliable, affordable and sustainable manner. Compacts will be moderated by sector experts from the World Bank Group /African Development Bank Group and will be presented by Ministers of Finance and Energy from each country. Ministers from other countries will be invited to listen to discussions, as well as discuss with African Development Bank Group and World Bank Group technical advisors on how to implement.
