Tom Greenwood has been an integral part of Helios Towers since its inception in 2010 and was appointed its CEO in April 2022. During his tenure, Greenwood has held several key leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, playing an important role in the company’s growth and success.
Greenwood has driven many of Helios Towers’ major milestones. He led all 15 of the company’s significant merger & acquisition transactions, guided the successful launch of the inaugural 2017 bond and IPO listing, and has consistently delivered record operational performance for customers. Under his leadership, the company has doubled its tower portfolio, reinforcing its position as a leading independent telecommunications infrastructure provider in Africa and the Middle East. Before joining Helios Towers, Tom worked at PwC. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
