Austin Makani is a communications expert with over 20 years of experience. He is the Founder/CEO of media consultancy AMM Investment. He conducts PR, communications and protocol sessions at various institutions. Makani anchored a weekly TV program – The Monday Agenda – featuring interviews with members of the diplomatic corps. He hosts a weekly live podcast, Wake Up Africa (WUA). Austin is engaged in local and regional consultancies and has reviewed various works including communication strategies. He has worked with the Southern Agricultural Growth Corridor of Tanzania Initiative,
The East, Central and Southern Africa Health Community, United Nations High Commission for Refugees, KCB Bank, Clouds Media and several others. Makani holds an MSc. in Marketing Management from Mzumbe University in Tanzania and a Postgraduate Diploma in Economic Diplomacy from the Dr Salim Ahmed Salim Centre for Foreign Relations.
