Solomon Quaynor

Solomon Quaynor is Vice President for Private Sector, Infrastructure & Industrialization at the African Development Bank, which he joined in 2020 with over 25 years in development finance and investment banking. From 2018-2020, he provided advisory services as Senior Advisor to Rothschild Global Advisory for Africa and IFU for sub-Saharan Africa, serving on boards including InfraCredit Nigeria. At IFC, he specialized in financial institutions, telecoms, infrastructure, manufacturing, and agribusiness investments. He supported executives in strategy development and regulatory engagement across multiple sectors. Previously, he worked in investment banking at Merrill Lynch and Bear Stearns in New York. Before attending business school, he taught math and engineering at Atlanta University Center. Quaynor holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech, and a BS in Applied Physics from Atlanta University Center.
