Hadiza Abdulmumini

Hadiza Abdulmumini is a lawyer and a mediator. She advocates for sustainable energy access across Africa.

She is involved in international efforts to accelerate the global energy transition, with a focus on promoting youth leadership and equitable access to clean energy for all.

She currently serves as the Global Focal Point for the Sustainable Development Goal 7 Youth Constituency, co-chairs the IRENA Youth Council, and is a member of the International Energy Agency Global Commission on People-Centred Clean Energy Transitions. Hadiza has been a vocal advocate for clean cooking practices in rural areas in Nigeria, promoting the use of briquets to ensure a healthier environment for women and children.
